800 Battery Hub supplies and installs car batteries across Dubai and the northern emirates. A car battery is an electrical component that is fitted to your vehicle at the time of sale, so this policy explains exactly what can be returned, what can be exchanged, and what is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty instead.

1. Returns window

We accept returns for defective products. We do not accept change-of-mind returns once a battery has been supplied and fitted, because a car battery is tested, matched to your vehicle and put into service at the point of sale.

Warranty periods differ by battery brand and model. The warranty period that applies to your battery is printed on your invoice and on the warranty card supplied with the battery. Please refer to those documents for the exact period covering your purchase.

3. Exchanges

We accept exchanges. If a battery was supplied in the correct specification but you would prefer a different brand or capacity, contact us and we will arrange an exchange, subject to the battery being in a resaleable condition. Where the replacement battery is of a higher value, the difference is payable.

4. Refund method and timing

Where a refund is approved, it is issued to the original payment method. Refunds are processed within 30 days of the returned battery being received and inspected. In most cases the refund reaches you sooner; the exact time depends on your bank or card issuer.

5. Return shipping and collection costs

Our service is mobile, so we collect returned batteries from your location. There is no collection charge and no restocking fee for a defective product or for a battery we supplied in error. You may also return a battery in person to our address in Al Quoz during working hours.

7. Battery disposal and core exchange

Old batteries removed during a replacement are taken away by our technician and recycled through a recycler licensed for battery waste in the UAE. Where a core or scrap allowance was deducted from your invoice, that allowance is not refundable once the old battery has been collected.

8. How to request a return, exchange or warranty claim

Please have your invoice number and the vehicle make, model and year ready. We respond to return and warranty requests within one working day.

9. Your statutory rights

This policy is in addition to your rights under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and its implementing regulations. Nothing in this policy limits or removes those rights.
